|Air Pressure||34 psi|
In keeping with the tradition of strong low speed air driven handpieces, Midwest introduced the Rhino vane type low speed motor. At 8,000 rpm, the Midwest Rhino is extremely strong and is compatible with all Midwest Shorty attachments. The Rhino is light weight and operates at very low pressures (2 psi) to provide very controllable low speed operation for a light touch. A twist of the black ring at bottom allows for forward and reverse, achieving up to 8,000 rpm in either direction. No water or air capability with this one.
Midwest Rhino – Low Speed But Still a Little High for Prophy Work
Hygienists seeking a handpiece for prophy work should look to the Midwest RDH. The optimum running speed of the Rhino will be a little high for that. The RDH offers an easy running 4,000 rpm for excellent prophy control.
