The Prophy Star Hygiene Handpiece by Star Dental is a new autoclavable, lube-free, slow-speed air turbine handpiece specifically designed for dental hygiene. Accepts both disposable prophy angles and reusable doriot-style prophy angles. The Prophy Star handpiece is speed adjustable between 0 and 4000 rpm and is capable of both forward and reverse. The 360 degree Quick Connect Swivel (sold separately) helps eliminate interferences with tubing and/or handpiece rotation and provides quick disconnect capability for
changing prophy heads and prophys. Very light handpiece with a good, strong motor.
